Gardens and a central fountain on Gran Vía, in the square long known as Moyúa.
Plaza Elíptica is the garden square on Gran Vía that many visitors still know as Moyúa. Its official name changed in July 2026. The central fountain and flowerbeds make a useful pause in the Ensanche, with the ornate Chávarri Palace overlooking one side.
Use it as a meeting point for a walk along Gran Vía or towards the Fine Arts Museum and Doña Casilda park. On newer signs and metro information, look for Elíptica or Eliptikoa; older maps and guides may still use Moyúa.
