Europa parkea (Bilbo)
Parque Europa
Park · Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga
A spacious neighbourhood park with winding paths and a pond in Txurdinaga.
Parque Europa spreads through the former Matalobos stream valley between Txurdinaga, Otxarkoaga and Santutxu. Opened in 1988, it transformed land once used for scrapyards and dumping into a large neighbourhood green space, with winding paths, trees and a pond.
Come for an unhurried walk away from the central museum circuit and explore the park’s different levels. The city approved renovation of the lower pergola and play area in 2026, so check municipal notices if those facilities are the main reason for your visit.
