A hilltop green escape at Kobetamendi, with city views and a connection to Bilbao’s walking routes.
Kobetamendi offers a view over Bilbao from one of the hills around the city. The park is also the setting for Bilbao BBK Live, but outside event periods it provides a different reason to head uphill: time outdoors away from the central streets.
For a walk up, consult the council’s Green Ring access route from Olabeaga to Parque Kobetas. Check the festival calendar and local access notices before setting out, as events can change how the park is used.
