Arkeologi Museoa follows the history of Bizkaia through finds recovered from archaeological sites across the province. Its permanent display begins with the earliest human presence and continues into historic periods, placing objects within the societies and settlements that used them.
The museum is in the Old Town, with its main entrance at Calzada de Mallona 2 and a separate lift access from Prim street. Check the official museum page for temporary exhibitions and guided visits; some activities require advance booking. This is the archaeology museum, distinct from nearby Euskal Museoa.
