Frank Gehry’s riverside museum brings the building and its art collection into the same visit. Inside, Richard Serra’s The Matter of Time fills a large gallery with curved steel forms that visitors walk between. Exhibitions also draw on the museum’s modern and contemporary collection.
Leave time to circle the outside: the riverside path gives a different view of the titanium surfaces and the artworks around the building. Check the museum’s programme and book through its official site for your chosen date.
Usual hours are Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00–19:00, with longer summer and Easter hours. In 2026 the museum also opens on Monday 12 October and 7 and 28 December. It closes on 25 December and 1 January, and at 17:00 on 24 and 31 December. Check the official calendar for your date; admission desks close 30 minutes before the museum.
For step-free access, the museum identifies a riverside ramp and a lift through the bar on the main façade.
