puente Euskalduna
Landmark · Deusto
A covered river crossing linking the Euskalduna waterfront with Deusto.
Euskalduna Bridge links the Sagrado Corazón side of the river with Deusto, beside the concert and conference centre that shares its name. Opened in 1997, it recalls the former shipyards on this stretch of waterfront. Look for the tall lighting tower and the broad canopy over the pedestrian and cycle areas. Cross as part of a riverside walk, then explore the Botica Vieja gardens on the Deusto bank. Bilbao Turismo lists San Mamés and Deusto as the metro approaches.
