Donostia / San Sebastián
Attraction
Make a full day of La Concha’s seafront and the pintxo streets of the Parte Vieja.
- Travel time
- About 120 min from Bilbao
Donostia / San Sebastián is the longer outing in this selection: give it a full day for La Concha’s seafront, the port and the Parte Vieja. The bay walk and old-quarter streets are the core plan; add San Telmo Museum or a climb towards Urgull only if you want more. Pintxo bars are concentrated in the old town, so leave room to explore there. The map marks La Concha beach.
Allow roughly two hours from central Bilbao to the bay, including local connections and walking. Travel from Abando to Bilbao Intermodal at San Mamés, then use an Alsa coach to Donostia’s bus station. Check the chosen service and book outward and return tickets; coach journeys vary.
