Erriberako Merkatua
Mercado de La Ribera
Attraction · Casco Viejo
Fresh produce and food stalls in Bilbao’s riverside market by the Old Town.
Ribera Market brings fishmongers, butchers, fruit stalls and other food traders together beside the river at the edge of the Old Town. Browse the produce stalls for a view of everyday food shopping, or stop at one of the market’s gastro bars for pintxos.
Combine it with a walk past San Antón and along the river towards the Arriaga theatre. Food stalls and bars have their own opening arrangements, so check the part you want to visit before making a special trip.
