A timber-lined pedestrian bridge connecting Abandoibarra with the Deusto university riverbank.
The Pedro Arrupe footbridge crosses the river between the Abandoibarra promenade and Avenida de las Universidades, beside the University of Deusto. Its steel exterior and lapacho-wood walkway make the crossing part of the riverside walk rather than simply a way across.
Follow it to switch riverbanks while exploring Abandoibarra. The pedestrian connection lets you continue along the university side or return towards the museum quarter, with views along the river from the crossing.
