Bidebarrieta’s municipal library occupies an 1890 building designed for the El Sitio society. It offers reading rooms, newspapers and magazines in the Casco Viejo, with entry at Bidebarrieta 4. The council says the auditorium can be visited unless preparations for an event prevent access.
From 16 September to 31 May, the library lists Monday–Friday hours of 08:30–20:30 and Saturday 10:00–14:00, with Sunday closure. The lending room opens at 10:00. Summer hours and selected Saturday closures differ: the published 2026 exceptions include 10 October and 19 and 26 December. Check the municipal notices before setting out.
Bidebarrieta Kulturgunea’s talks and performances have their own programme and admission arrangements; library opening hours do not guarantee an event seat.
